How To Become A Genius

I’m gonna explain, through my own perspective, how anyone can become a polymath.

What is a polymath?

  • An individual whose knowledge spans a substantial number of subjects.

If you would’ve kept the curiosity you had as a child you would’ve already been a polymath.

Society is taking away all the gifts you’ve been born with.

They’re telling you to go forward, never backwards.

We’re forced to go through hell to find heaven.

But heaven wouldn’t be beautiful without the ugliness of hell.

Let’s get started

Step 1

  • Learn how to learn.
  • Learn how to think.
  • Learn how to listen.
  • Learn how to speak.
  • Learn how to teach.
  • Learn how to write.

I would learn the first three in that order.

Use the skillsets you’ve acquired to do the following:

Become highly intelligent in all intelligence types.

  1. IQ — Intellectual intelligence.
  2. EQ — Emotional intelligence.
  3. PQ — Physical intelligence.
  4. SQ — Spiritual intelligence.

Every intelligence type compounds on each other.

Based on my own experience, SQ is the most important type of intelligence.

Find out why.

Being highly intelligent in all types allows you to know when to do what and why.

Step 2

Everything you can think of is a skill, some skills you’re born with, some you can acquire.

It is important for you to be aware of this.

Examples of skills you’re born with: Creativity, Innovation, Problem solving, etc…

Examples of skills you can acquire: Discipline, Resilience, Communication, Compassion, Empathy, etc..

The skills you acquire will help you use the skills you’re born with at their fullest potential.

You can’t use the skills you’re born with at will, you have to allow them to manifest through you.

These skills manifest when you detach from the self, when your mind is empty.

Step 3

Allow yourself to be inspired.

Go back to what you enjoyed doing as a child.

For me it was drawing, writing, dancing, music, sports… every form of human expression.

You have to train your creativity.

Creativity is the expression of the subconscious.

It’s a state of flow, the state in which you don’t think about anything, the state in which everything seems effortless, where time is distorted and in which you lose touch with reality.

Step 4

Create Art.

Art can be found in anything, but not everyone can see it.

Unfortunately most people can’t see and enjoy the most beautiful form of art that was ever created.

LIFE.

Polymaths created Art that had a global impact on society.

Becoming a polymath is not something you do for the sake of becoming a polymath.

It’s not a choice, it’s a purpose.

You don’t have to become a polymath to be fulfilled.

You just have to create your own type of ART.

Become a master at your own craft, whatever that might be.

Because art is what makes us feel alive.

In my opinion, polymaths have combined the following:

Skills they were born with + skills they acquired + information + perspective from all areas they’ve studied.

They found ways to learn, retain and simplify the information in the most efficient way possible and dedicated themselves to learning.

Which resulted into something that revolutionized the world.

If you’re not passionate about learning and if you don’t see yourself doing that all day long, maybe this is not what you want, and that’s ok, just keep looking.
